Job summary

Northern Nevada Health System is seeking a part-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Nevada to provide direct patient care, assess and triage patients, and coordinate with ED physicians and staff. You will manage patient flow, monitor vitals, and educate families on pain management and care plans.

Qualifications

• NV RN license current
• 2–3 years ED experience or critical care
• EMS background experience
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications within specified timeframe

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department and coordinate care planning.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments across pediatrics to geriatrics and reassess per policy.
• Utilize triage to ensure timely and appropriate care and assign triage categories.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret results.
• Educate patients and families on pain management and treatment plans.
