Job summary

Northern Nevada Health System’s North Valleys ER is a 24/7 ED welcoming all ages, with fast-track rooms and advanced imaging. This part-time RN opportunity offers full benefits and a schedule designed for work-life balance.

You will provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department, coordinate with other disciplines, and ensure care meets psychosocial and physical needs while supporting efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• Current NV RN License.
• 2–3 years ER experience preferred.
• 2–3 years Critical Care experience preferred.
• EMS background experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department and evaluate outcomes.
• Coordinate care planning with multidisciplinary team.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and triage using ED protocols.
• Communicate changes in patient status to ED physicians.
• Support rapid response and patient flow through the department.
