Job summary

MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane is seeking a staff RN to join our emergency department team for night shifts. This 0.9 FTE position offers 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends, with opportunities to apply advanced nursing skills in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in WA or MLS endorsement.
• BLS, ACLS/NALS/PALS/TNCC/NRP certifications required as applicable.
• 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Advanced nursing degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to improve quality of care and patient experience.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families and staff.

Skills

BLS Certification

ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP

One year of acute care experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP)

RN license (Washington MLS eligible)
