Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Maine is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department on full-time evenings. The role involves delivering safe patient care in a fast-paced telemetered ED, with ongoing patient education and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Eligible experienced RNs receive a sign-on bonus; fast prescreening and interview process. Competitive compensation ranges from $37.00 to $51.28 per hour, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate on hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• PALS and/or ENPC within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry and ED.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the physician and document results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality and comply with EMTALA requirements.
