Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
• Registered Nurse License (Oregon).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 3 months of hire.
• Computer keyboarding skills.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient using multi-system evaluations and discharges planning.
• Develops and updates a nursing care plan and coordinates with hospital departments.
• Delivers care per physician plan and documents in EMR; teaches patients and families.
• Evaluates patient responses and participates in unit quality assurance activities.

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

RN License (Oregon)

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field (preferred)
