Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department team. You will provide general nursing care across the continuum of care in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, with a Day shift and a 36-hour workweek.

The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and collaborates with LPNs and UAPs to deliver safe, compassionate care. Candidates must hold an Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and BSN within five years of employment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the state of Ohio.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• BSN required by 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - perform initial and ongoing health-status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - document planned nursing interventions.
• Implementation/Evaluation - evaluate responses and revise care plans.
• Leadership - participate in process improvement for quality and safety.
• Operations - contribute to safe, efficient department operations.
