Job summary

Summa Health System in Akron is seeking a registered nurse to provide, coordinate and delegate nursing care based on basic nursing principles, using evidence and nursing theory to guide patient care and family interactions.

This full‑time role requires an ADN (BSN preferred), current Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS within six months, and has a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork and compassionate service for patients across care settings.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• CCNE/ACEN-accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Experience in hospital nursing and critical care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate and/or delegate nursing care based on basic nursing principles.
• Use evidence and nursing theory to deliver care for patients, families, and communities.
• Manage resources to attain, maintain and restore optimum health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
