Job summary

Summa Health System is hiring an RN for the Akron Campus on a full-time schedule of 7a-7:30p, 36 hours per week. The role focuses on providing comprehensive nursing care guided by biomedical knowledge and nursing theory, coordinating care and managing resources for patients and families to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN, with BSN preferred, and must have an Ohio RN license. Experience in relevant units and ACLS completion within six months is expected.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice registered nursing in Ohio.
• PRN RNs must have at least one year of recent experience in the area of practice.
• One year of related RN experience required for weekend option positions.

Responsibilities

• Provides, coordinates and/or delegates nursing care and manages resources in the delivery of care for patients, the family of patients and the community, with the goal of attaining, maintaining and restoring optimum health.

Education

Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN)

CCNE/ACEN accredited program
