Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team across inpatient, outpatient and community settings in New Jersey. The RN will apply the nursing process, coordinate care with physicians, and lead patient education initiatives to promote health and wellbeing.

The role requires NJ RN licensure (or multi-state) with ACLS and BLS within six months of hire, and 2 years of medical/surgical or emergency room experience. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in NJ or multi-state license required.
• BSN preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using the nursing process across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
• Plan and coordinate interdisciplinary care to align with the medical treatment plan.
• Intervene with appropriate orders and documentation; evaluate outcomes and revise as needed.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and family members.
