Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department Mainland on a per diem basis. The RN will work with the interdisciplinary team to provide culturally competent care and coordinate the plan of care with the physician.

The role requires NJ RN licensure (BSN preferred), BLS, and preferred ACLS within six months. Extensive ED experience and proficiency with clinical applications are expected, with certifications like ATCN/TNCC/PALS/ENPC as timelines permit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in NJ or multi-state license.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC and/or ATCN/ENPC certifications preferred or required within set timelines.
• Proficiency with clinical applications and emergency department protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide nurse-led care in cooperation with physicians within ED settings.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary plan of care consistent with medical treatment.
• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care per nursing process.
