Job summary

Atrium Health Steele Creek Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Department. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, using evidence-based practice and strong communication to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Required qualifications include completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months of hire, and at least 6 months of inpatient critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of RN experience; not suitable for new graduates.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire; BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic care.
• Deliver care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures, communicating effectively with the care team.
