Job summary

Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, AZ, seeks a registered nurse for their Emergency Department. The ED handles adult emergencies, with pediatric transfers, a Level 4 trauma center, and a 56-bed unit.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Banner RN in ED with acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, cultural needs.
• Plan and implement nursing care with discharge planning.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities and delegation.
• Document assessments, plans, and patient responses timely and accurately.
• Evaluate outcomes and revise care plans as patient status changes.
• Engage in evidence-based practice and quality improvement activities.
