Job summary

Mount Carmel St. Ann's Emergency Department in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time 12-hour evening shift (10:00 AM–10:30 PM), with every third weekend and rotating holidays. The RN will provide care with teamwork and professional standards.

The role involves nursing care, patient safety, and adherence to the Nursing Process. Ohio licensure is required; new grads may enroll in the Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• All new graduate nurses with less than one year of clinical experience are subject to participate in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and maintains patient safety.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care and develops a plan with patient/family.
• Communicates pertinent information to the team in a timely manner.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided by other licensed/unlicensed staff as appropriate.
