Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a full-time role in Reno, NV. The position combines clinical care with managerial duties, requiring rapid response to changing patient conditions and coordination with physicians and staff.

Qualifications include an active RN license in the state, BCLS, ACLS within 6 months, and PALS within 6 months; ENPC and TNCC are optional. Sign-on bonus of $7,500 is offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years ED experience required.
• Provides direct patient care in ED and manages triage.
• Must maintain BCLS/ACLS/PALS per hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments across age groups.
• Educate patients and families on pain management.
