Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of high school or equivalent preferred.
• One to two years customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of third-party payors preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide helpful assistance while remaining calm under pressure.
• Register patients in ER and Urgent Care and verify insurance information.
• Collect co-pays and assist with patient payments.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer and balance at end of shift.
• Coordinate patient flow and support other departments as needed.
