Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL seeks a Registration teammate to obtain complete patient data for ED registration, verify insurance and collect copayments. This full-time role requires strong multitasking and excellent phone skills.

Typical shifts include overnight 10:00 PM–6:30 AM and 1:30 PM–7:00 AM with weekend rotation; candidates should have a high school diploma and basic computer knowledge; Cerner experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge required with ability to work in multiple systems.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains complete, accurate and relevant patient data for registration for the Emergency Department population.
• Completes patient insurance verification and copayment collection.
