Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an ED Patient Access Associate at Doylestown Hospital. The role focuses on computerized patient registration in a fast-paced Emergency Department, validating patient data, and ensuring timely reimbursement and compliant records.

Part-time position (8 hours per week) with every other Saturday and Sunday from 6:45am-3:15pm, including one summer and one winter holiday. HS Diploma or GED and strong customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Identify the patient and select the patient's medical record.
• Complete an accurate registration at the time of service, verifying all data fields.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits at the time of service.
• Identify and collect patient copayment for Emergency services as applicable.
• Complete all required forms and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Complete an accurate outpatient registration during off hours for Outpatient Testing.
