Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a flexible ED care provider for the Emergency Department. The role involves collaborating with ED physicians, PCAs, unit secretaries and RN staff to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires CPR-Basic Life Support certification.
• Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Experience caring for critically ill patients.
• EMS/ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ED care team including physicians, PCAs and RN staff.
• Monitor patients for acute changes and communicate with RN/physician.
• Assist with procedures and patient care tasks as directed.
• Establish peripheral IV access and manage history and vitals.
• Support flow/charge nurse to maintain appropriate assignments.
