Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Milford, CT is seeking experienced emergency department staff to join our ED care team. This night shift role offers a competitive starting pay range and opportunities for certification and advancement within a leading health system.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience caring for critically ill patients in the last 5 years.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Effective oral and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the ED care team including physicians, PCAs, unit secretaries and RN staff.
• Monitor patients for acute changes and inform RN or physician.
• Assist with procedures and patient care per ED policy.
• Establish and maintain peripheral IV access.
• Obtain medical history, check vital signs, and communicate observations to physician/RN.
• Maintain assignment as delegated by ED leadership.
