Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a patient care technician for the Emergency Department. The role supports the RN in delivering compassionate care to patients and families, performing routine clinical tasks and clerical duties under supervision.

The position is non-exempt, evening shift, 24 hours per week with alternating holidays and weekends. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates and final offers will reflect experience and internal equity.

• Provide direct patient care in a safe, timely manner under RN supervision.
• Perform clinical tasks under RN direction (EKGs, phlebotomy, vital signs).
• Maintain and document medical records and physician orders accurately.
