Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech III for the Emergency Department. Under licensed supervision, you will support patient care, monitor vitals, and assist with procedures to ensure safety and comfort.

The role requires teamwork with nurses and other staff to provide compassionate, high-quality care. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documentation, and safety checks in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in acute care, hospital setting, or EMT/Paramedic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under licensed clinician supervision.
• Assist in daily living activities and mobility of patients.
• Monitor vital signs, document observations, and communicate changes to RN.
• Support unit operations, restock supplies, and maintain patient safety procedures.
• Assist with treatments and setup equipment as needed.
