Responsibilities

• Greet patients, families, and visitors in the Emergency Department with professionalism and empathy.
• Complete timely and accurate patient registration, including demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Obtain signatures on consent forms, privacy notices, and financial documents per policy.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and update records accordingly.
• Determine and collect patient co-pays, deductibles, or deposits; explain financial assistance options.
