Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital is seeking a Supervisor, Patient Access Services for the Emergency Department to lead frontline registration and insurance processes. You will oversee daily activities, guide staff, and ensure accurate patient data capture to support efficient care delivery.

Reporting to the Manager of Patient Access Services, you will coach staff, monitor performance, ensure HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with clinical units to resolve access issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in Patient Access or hospital registration.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access activities to ensure timely and accurate registration, insurance capture, and documentation.
• Supervise frontline Patient Access representatives, including scheduling, attendance monitoring, and performance feedback.
• Partner with clinical units and internal departments to resolve patient access-related issues in real time.
