Allegheny Health Network's Wexford Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator for the Emergency Department. You will manage scheduling, bedside registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance while documenting data in the EHR and preparing estimates for patients.

Ideal candidates show strong communication, empathy, calm under pressure, and a solid respect for patient confidentiality, HIPAA and EMTALA guidelines.

Formación

• High School/GED required or equivalent
• Experience in customer service or medical/financial setting preferred
• Strong communication and accuracy when handling data and schedules

Responsabilidades

• Handle scheduling, bedside registration and admitting functions independently at ED bedside.
• Verify insurance information and collect data for timely, accurate claims submission.
• Calculate estimates and collect patient liabilities in the ADT system; support financial clearance and coordination with billing.
