Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or a health-related field preferred.
• Experience in progressive nursing leadership positions recommended.

Responsibilities

• Develops unit/department goals and ensures compliance with policies and practice guidelines.
• Maintains relationships across disciplines to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
• Conducts performance reviews and provides coaching for staff development.
• Oversees budgeting, staffing, and resource management for the unit/department.
• Leads safety initiatives and quality improvement activities to meet regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with nurse leadership to ensure competency and professional growth.
• Maintains patient-centered care and supports Magnet/Pathways to Excellence goals.
