Brookdale Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Educator for Emergency Department Services to strengthen nurses' knowledge, confidence, and clinical readiness. You will design and deliver orientation, competency validation, continuing education, and practice-improvement initiatives to support high-quality, safe patient care.

The role focuses on collaboration across nursing leadership, acting as a mentor and resource, and driving practice improvements while aligning with organizational goals

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum five (5) years of clinical RN experience, including emergency and critical care.
• Minimum three (3) years of nurse educator experience.
• Current NY RN license and registration are required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; relevant specialty certs preferred and may be pursued within two years.

• Collaborates with nursing leadership to maintain standards of nursing practice.
• Identify learning needs and document staff educational requirements.
• Maintain current knowledge through literature review and impact on nursing practice.
• Provide supervision, coaching, or mentoring based on learner needs assessment.
• Evaluate learning outcomes and competency plans for staff.
