Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum five (5) years of clinical RN experience including emergency and critical care.
• Minimum three (3) years of nurse educator experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and initiates orientation/onboarding and staff development programs.
• Collaborates with nursing leadership to maintain standards of nursing practice.
• Identify learning needs and document them for nursing staff.
• Provide clinical supervision, coaching or mentoring based on learning needs assessment.
• Evaluate learning and competency plans for staff.
• Designs and organizes educational resources for staff development.
• Conducts classes/training as necessary.
• Evaluate staff for clinical competence and participate in remediation when needed.
