Citizens Medical Center, Inc. is hiring a Registered Nurse to lead the Emergency Department as Manager. The role covers clinical and operational leadership, trauma program oversight, and emergency preparedness coordination.

The department operates 365 days a year and the pay range is based on experience. The organization includes a critical access hospital, outpatient clinic, skilled nursing facility, and on-site services, all serving northwest Kansas.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Kansas or eligible for licensure.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in emergency department care settings.
Prior leadership or charge nurse experience.
Strong understanding of ED protocols.
Experience in rural healthcare or critical access hospital settings.

Responsibilities

Oversee Emergency Department operations and policies to ensure quality patient care.
Monitor data and use nursing process to drive improvements.
Coordinate with Trauma program leadership and Trauma Medical Director.
Serve as Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for Citizens Health Inc.
