Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking an Emergency Room Manager for Belton, MO, to lead daily operations in a growing, accredited ED. You will supervise staff, manage patient flow, and coordinate resources to sustain a safe, efficient environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and hospital leaders, with on-call responsibilities and a standard daytime schedule. RN licensure, a Bachelor's degree, and recent ED leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure active and in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years acute care ED leadership in the last year (charge nurse in the ED acceptable; strong ICU charge experience may be considered).
• BLS required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• ATCN or TNCC must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational and clinical leadership for the emergency department.
• Oversee staff performance, patient flow, and departmental processes.
• Coordinate resources and support frontline nursing staff to maintain a safe, high-functioning ED.
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary teams, and hospital leadership to align ED operations with organizational goals.
• Drive continuous quality improvement within the ED unit.
