Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days.
• Minimum one year of RN experience in emergent or acute care settings.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN is required; degree will be verified.
• If less than 12 months’ experience, BSN must be obtained within four years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in fast-paced emergency environments.
• Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, technicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and treatments per organizational policies.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up.
• Adapt to varying workflows, volumes, and acuity while maintaining safety.
