• Validate skills and competency in conjunction with nursing leadership.
• Create/update ED policies, procedures, or order sets.
• Track orientee progress and communicate with managers.
• Assist with chart audits to assess regulatory compliance and gaps.
• Teach courses in specialty areas or AHA courses if available.
• Serve as ED nursing education expert within practice.
