Job summary

Memorial Health System in Marietta, OH is seeking an ER Technician to assist RNs and LPNs in providing patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. The role emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork and compassionate bedside manner while performing vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy and monitoring under supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, BLS certification, and preferably EMT or LPN training, with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and transport patients as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EMT or LPN preferred; BLS certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with patient transport.

Responsibilities

• Perform general care and hourly rounding to ensure patient comfort.
• Assist with vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy, urinary catheterization, cardiac monitoring, and CPR.
• Support physicians and nurses during procedures.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness of the Emergency Department.
• Ensure safety and infection control compliance.
• Enter daily charges for patient care supplies.
• Promote a positive patient experience.
