Role Details

The emergency room concierge is vital to the patient experience. This position involves four, 10-hour shifts per week, with potential rotating weekends. Working hours are from 10 am to 8 pm.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with ED staff and support services to enhance patient care and experience.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
• Answer patient questions, assist with wayfinding, and provide support as needed.
• Round in the waiting room and ED to ensure patient comfort and address needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with data entry and computer applications.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Organized, able to multitask, and work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of computers and kiosks.
• Problem-solving skills and flexibility to perform various functions.
