Qualifications

• BLS/EMT certifications may be required upon hire depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Manages communications from prehospital providers for the ED.
• Coordinates hospital response to prehospital patient needs under supervision.
• Relay EMS order requests to ED physicians and coordinate with care teams.
• Notify ED coordination staff when prehospital patients require hospital resources.
• Enter EMS data into the electronic medical record and maintain logs.
• Assist with bed assignment and diversion status as needed.
• Maintain supplies, radios, and clean EMS entrance area.
