Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience as nursing assistant, inpatient caregiver, paramedic, EMT, urgent care caregiver, or nursing student (preferred completion of a medical‑surgical rotation).
• CRT‑Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon hire (or ARC/Red Cross equivalent).
• Licensing: EMT – State of Michigan upon hire; Nursing Assistant certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine bedside nursing activities and patient care under supervision.
• Documents accurate patient information and records interventions.
• Assists with discharge functions and patient teaching.
• Provides sterile and non‑sterile dressing changes and basic wound care.
• Gathers patient data and communicates with the health care team.
