Corewell Health's Emergency Center – Grosse Pointe Hospital is seeking an ED team member to support registered nurses by performing delegated patient care tasks during night shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., 36 hours per week.

You will help with vital signs, dressing changes, specimen collection, catheterization assistance, patient transport, and discharge tasks, ensuring patient safety and quality care. A strong attention to detail, compassion, and ability to work in a fast-paced team are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months' experience as nursing assistant or inpatient caregiver, paramedic, EMT, or nursing student.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine bedside nursing activities under RN supervision.
• Gathers subjective and objective patient data and documents in the medical record.
• Reinforces patient teaching and aftercare instructions with patients/families.
• Assists with dressing changes, catheterizations, wound care and basic procedures as directed.
