Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Clinical Technician to join the emergency care team in Lewiston. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, assisting with rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of a range of conditions in a busy ED.

A Paramedic/EMT-Advanced credential, active state licensure, and current BLS are required, with ACLS/PALS within 6 months. This role offers full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Paramedic or EMT-Advanced program
• Current state licensure as Paramedic or EMT-Advanced
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days and maintain current
• ACLS, PALS, PHTLS/ITLS within 6 months of hire
• Maine PIFT Certification
• TNCC audit within 1 year of hire
• IV therapy and medication administration privileges as permitted by state
• Minimum three years of recent prehospital provider experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of Emergency Department physician and/or RN
• Support rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of emergent, urgent, and non-urgent conditions
• Perform advanced clinical skills including IV access and medication administration
• Adhere to hospital policies, medical staff bylaws, and physician orders
