Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Clinical Technician for Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME. You will support the Emergency Department with direct patient care under supervision, focusing on rapid assessment, stabilization, and therapeutic interventions.

Requirements include a Paramedic/EMT-Advanced program, active licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS/ITLS, and a minimum of three years of prehospital provider experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Complete accredited Paramedic or EMT-Advanced program.
• Current state licensure/certification as Paramedic or EMT-Advanced.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• ACLS, PALS, PHTLS/ITLS within 6 months of hire.
• Maine PIFT Certification required.
• TNCC audit within 1 year of hire.
• IV therapy and medication administration privileges as permitted by state.
• Minimum three years of recent prehospital provider experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under ED physician and/or RN supervision.
• Support rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of emergent/urgent cases.
• Perform advanced clinical skills including IV access and meds administration.

Education
