Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team in Wisconsin. You will perform triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing while remaining a steady, compassionate presence for pet parents in stressful moments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology strongly preferred.
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state where VEG practice is located.
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat every patient and person like they matter—you stay by their side through tests and treatments.
• Deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support in critical moments from triage to discharge.
• Assist with IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions, and other monitoring.
• Communicate as a teammate and help shape care plans to keep care flowing.
• Perform CPR when needed and support high-quality emergency care.
• Handle diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tubing placement, including anesthesia.
