Job summary

You will receive and route calls for police, fire, EMS, and other services, progressing to a full Communications Specialist I within 12 months with required ICS certifications and background checks.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may prefer prior office experience with computers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in office settings with computers preferred.
• Licensure/certifications to be obtained within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, route, relay, and dispatch calls for emergency and non-emergency services.
• Learn and perform duties under supervision to progress to Communications Specialist I.
• Meet training and certification requirements (ICS 100/200/700/800) within one year.
• Possess Nevada Class C Driver License and pass background checks.
