Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; six years of experience in Public Safety Emergency Telecommunications; associate degree may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and participate in the full range of dispatch center activities.
• Supervise Emergency Telecommunication Dispatchers on assigned shifts; coordinate scheduling with union contract.
• Log emergency calls, provide custom reports, train and counsels employees.
• Assist in employee selection and ensure safe work practices.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
