Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; additional dispatch training preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in emergency services dispatch or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of police procedures, NCIC, CAD and radio communications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises centralized communications agents and dispatch operations.
• Oversees Police dispatch equipment, logs, and data entry in CAD/NCIC systems.
• Responds to 911 calls and coordinates with officers and other agencies.
• Maintains logs and reports, and ensures timely communication during emergencies.
• Trains and mentors staff; prioritizes shift workloads and staffing.
