Arizona Department of Transportation seeks a Dispatcher in Phoenix to receive, process, and coordinate emergency and non-emergency incidents statewide using CAD, radios, and cameras. The 24/7 OpComm Center operates nights, weekends, and holidays with a background check required.

Under supervision, you will prioritize calls, document details, and determine appropriate agency response while maintaining calm under pressure and following strict policies. Eligible for a $4,000 hiring incentive.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Terminal Operator Certification Level A within 6 months of hire.
• ACJIS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches and prioritizes statewide emergency and non-emergency requests.
• Interview callers to determine incident details and needed response.
• Enter and retrieve information in CAD and other databases.
• Maintain awareness of safety and privacy requirements.
