Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent customer service skills involving verbal, written, and listening skills.
• Proficient knowledge of Google/Microsoft applications.
• Basic knowledge of telephone systems and following written/verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist SUPD administratively with customer service for students/staff/faculty/visitors.
• Monitor all fire and burglar alarm systems and assist with routine testing.
• Monitor surveillance camera system for security purposes.
• Contacts Emergency Services using 911 for campus emergencies.
• Answer Police Department calls and redirect to appropriate department.
• Create detailed logs of alarms, cameras, calls, and foot traffic.
• Create monthly operator schedule and ensure shifts are covered.
• Train part-time operators.
• Create reports related to camera monitoring and communicate with IT.
