Job summary

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - HS Diploma/GED equivalent.
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 year of experience.
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Cert Telecommunicator Oper required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Answers, evaluates, prioritizes, and dispatches emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance to Police and Security Officers.
• Monitors and processes calls from multiple lines, intercoms, emergency boxes, and alarms.
• Monitors law enforcement communications, weather alerts, and incidents impacting campus safety in Dallas/Fort Worth.
• Oversees alarms, access control, and CCTV systems.
• Remains calm and focused in high-stress or life-threatening situations to ensure appropriate responses.
• Communicates professionally with callers, emergency personnel, and internal departments.
