City of Dallas seeks an entry-level 911 Call Analyst I to join a frontline public safety team. Under direct supervision, you will handle a high volume of calls, assess incidents, and determine appropriate emergency responses using current dispatch technology.

This role requires a high school diploma, two years of customer service, and certifications during probation. The position offers varied shifts, background checks, and opportunity to grow in a mission-driven city service.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of customer service in emergency call center or high-volume environment.
• Must obtain NCIC/TCIC/CJIS certification during probation and renew yearly.
• Must obtain Basic Telecommunicator License from TCOLE within probation.
• Must be a United States citizen; able to work varied shifts; pass background check and drug test.

Responsabilidades

• Receives and evaluates emergency and non-emergency calls and data from the public; transfers calls to dispatcher as required.
• Uses 911 phone systems, CAD systems, and location software to analyze incident details.
• Determines whether an incident is an emergency and applies department policies.
• Transmits call information to the Police Dispatcher Analyst for appropriate response.
• Interviews callers to obtain vital information and provides crisis intervention as needed.
