Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a full-time Remote Emergency Room Coder to accurately code ER cases using ICD-10-CM/PCS and the 3M 360 Encoder HDM, in strict adherence to site guidelines and regulatory requirements.

You will review documentation, create compliant physician queries for medical necessity, and ensure coding quality while supporting multiple sites; you’ll collaborate with physicians, coders, and billing teams to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or equivalent experience; AHIMA or AAPC certification is required.
• Active credentials such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or COC are required.
• Experience coding Emergency Room cases is required.
• Experience working with 3M 360 Encoder HDM is required.

Job description

Handling medical coding and data entry for outpatient visits, the full-time Remote Emergency Room Coder will specifically code Emergency Room cases using the 3M 360 Encoder HDM to enhance the coding and billing process.
