Security Central, a family‑owned life safety provider since 1963, is hiring for a security monitoring role in Statesville, NC and nearby areas. You will monitor alarms, verify signals, and coordinate with police, fire, or medical responders while maintaining calm communication with customers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and processing alarms, trouble signals, and supervisory signals.
• Determining and contacting authorities as needed (police, fire, medical).
• Placing outgoing calls to verify alarms, dispatch authorities, and notify responsible parties.
• Maintaining clear, calm communication with customers.
• Accurately documenting all responses in alarm monitoring software.

Responsibilities

You're Role :

• Monitoring and processing alarms, trouble signals, and supervisory signals as they are received.


• Determining and contacting the appropriate authorities—police, fire, or medical—based on the situation.


• Placing outgoing calls to verify alarms, dispatch the correct authorities, and notify responsible parties.


• Maintaining clear and calm communication with customers.


• Accurately documenting all responses in our alarm monitoring software.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For :

• High School Diploma or GED


• Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check


• Availability to attend mandatory training for 2 weeks (Mon - Fri, 9am - 4:30pm)


• Availability to work weekends and holidays


• Authorization to work in the United States


• Must be at least 18 years old


• Proficiency in computer applications, with professional phone etiquette


• Strong customer service skills, with an ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
