Job summary

Security Central in Anderson, SC is hiring for an Alarm Monitoring Professional in a full-time, on-site capacity. You will monitor and process alarms, verify and dispatch authorities, and maintain clear communication with customers during high-pressure situations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass background and drug screening, and willingness to attend two weeks of paid training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process alarms, trouble signals, and supervisory signals.
• Determine and contact the appropriate authorities based on the situation.
• Place outgoing calls to verify alarms, dispatch authorities, and notify responsible parties.
• Maintain clear, calm communication with customers.
• Accurately document all responses in the alarm monitoring software.

Responsibilities

You're Role :

• Monitoring and processing alarms, trouble signals, and supervisory signals as they are received.


• Determining and contacting the appropriate authorities—police, fire, or medical—based on the situation.


• Placing outgoing calls to verify alarms, dispatch the correct authorities, and notify responsible parties.


• Maintaining clear and calm communication with customers.


• Accurately documenting all responses in our alarm monitoring software.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For :

• High School Diploma or GED


• Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check


• Availability to attend mandatory training for 2 weeks (Mon - Fri, 9am - 4:30pm)


• Availability to work weekends and holidays


• Authorization to work in the United States


• Must be at least 18 years old


• Proficiency in computer applications, with professional phone etiquette


• Strong customer service skills, with an ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
