Job summary

Security Central, a family-owned life safety provider since 1963, is hiring for an alarm monitoring role. You will monitor alarms, contact authorities, verify responses, and keep customers informed.

We offer paid training, strong team support, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. This full-time/part-time position is available in Knoxville, TN; Statesville, NC; and Anderson, SC with day, evening, and night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Availability to attend mandatory 2-week training (Mon-Fri, 9am-4:30pm).
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficiency in computer applications with professional phone etiquette.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process alarms, trouble signals, and supervisory signals.
• Determine and contact appropriate authorities (police, fire, or medical).
• Place outgoing calls to verify alarms, dispatch authorities, and notify responsible parties.
• Maintain clear and calm communication with customers.
• Accurately document all responses in alarm monitoring software.

Responsibilities

You’re Role :

What We’re Looking For :

• Availability to attend mandatory training for 2 weeks (Mon - Fri, 9am - 4:30pm)
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years old

• Strong customer service skills, with an ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
